The client needed a website for their news and media business. Over ten years ago I created a completely custom CMS with PHP for the client. Then more recently we revamped the website to utilize WordPress. The challenge in this project was to port over several years worth of data from a custom MySQL database into the WordPress install. Additionally, while I was using a customized version of a pre-made theme I had to integrate a banner ad system utilizing Google Ad Manager.
